Vitamin solution for use in all animals


DESCRIPTION

Amasol AD3E can be used in all animal species and provides a boost for these important vitamins in situations where there is an increased requirement such as: during stress periods, mating, where there are deficiencies in the feed or reduced consumption.

INDICATIONS

All animals. Particular uses include:

Chickens and Growing Poultry:
On arrival at the farm; prior to vaccination; other stress periods

Laying Hens:
In situations where reduced feed consumption occurs; during vaccination, worming and other stress periods

Calves:
Within the first few days of life; during therapeutic or pro-phylactic treatment and after transportation and stress periods

Swine:
During transportation; reduced feed consumption; weaning

All Breeding Animals:
Before mating and parturition; during lactation

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Chickens at birth:
5ml per litre of drinking water

Chickens after four weeks:
3ml per litre of drinking water

Laying Hens:
1 ml per litre of drinking water

Calves, Foals:
4ml each

Cows, Bulls, Horses:
10ml each

Piglets:
1 mI each

Pregnant or Suckling Sows:
4ml each

Rabbits:
1 ml each

Duration of treatment is for one day only but may be repeated after one week if required.

WARNINGS

While deleterious effects of vitamins E have not been reported even with excessive doses. prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin A may cause itching, irritability and bone abnormalities and when administered at twice the nutritional requirement may affect yolk pigmentation in poultry. Prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin D3 is associated with hypercalcaemia of soft tissues as well as hyperphosphataemia. The recommended maximum dose for vitamin A is reported to be between 10 - 30x RDA and vitamin D3 between 4 - 10x RDA.

The addition of vitamin C provides added protection against infectious diseases.

AMASOL AMINO

Anti-stress/tonic preparation for poultry, calves and swine


DESCRIPTION

Amasol Amino is an effective tonic and rehydrating agent for calves and piglets and an anti-stress agent for poultry. Consisting of a balanced solution of vitamins, electrolytes, glucose and essential amino acids, Amasol Amino provides these essential nutrients in an easily absorbable form and is effective in counteracting the effects of diarrhoea or stress due to transportation. The beneficial effects of Amasol Amino is evident in treated animals by the return in their appetite, liveliness and coat lustre.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Poultry:
10ml per litre of drinking water for 2-3 days

Calves:
20ml per litre of warm (40°C) drinking water on first day after housing 20ml + 50g of milk powder per litre of drinking water on second day after housing

Swine:
150ml per 100kg of live weight per day on first few days after housing

WARNINGS

The recommended maximum dose for choline chloride has been quoted as 2 - 4x RDA and for vitamin B2 and pantothenic acid as 10 - 20x RDA. Therefore prolonged overdosage with Amasol Amino should be avoided.



AMASOL BK

Liquid Additive

Support therapy containing the B-group and K vitamins for use with poultry, calves and swine


DESCRIPTION

Chemotherapeutic treatment may lead to disturbances in the intestinal flora and a reduction in the levels of vitamins from the B and K groups. Thus Amasol BK is a valuable support therapy in this respect and can be used with Amasol AD3EC to provide comprehensive treatment against possible deficiencies.

INDICATIONS

During and after the administration of nitrofurans, sulfadrugs or antibiotics or in cases of inadequate intake of the B and K vitamins.

Broilers and Layers:
2ml per litre of drinking water for 5-6 days

Calves:
8ml per l00kg of live weight in the milk replacer for 5-6 days

Swine:
l0ml per l00kg of live weight in the semi-liquid feed for 5-6 days

WARNINGS

The recommended maximum dose for Choline Chloride has been quoted as 2 - 4x RDA and for Vitamin B2 and Pantothenic acid as 10 - 20x RDA. Therefore prolonged overdosage with Amasol BK should be avoided.

When given with Amasol AD3EC, the dosage periods for each product should be adhered to as Amasol BK requires a longer period for absorption than Amasol AD3EC.

DESCRIPTION

Amasol Forte contains a wide range of vitamins with amino acid supplementation in the form of a carrier for use where feed quality is unpredictable.
