DESCRIPTION

Amasol Immuno contains vitamins C and E and Folic Acid to provide a boost to the immune system and act as a natural defence against disease during susceptible periods. It is particularly effective against respiratory and gastro-intestinal infections and recommended for chickens and turkeys in their first months of life

INDICATIONS

Poultry, Swine, Calves, Kids, Lambs, Foals, Rabbits:
During susceptible periods

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adult Poultry:
1 ml per litre of drinking water for 15 days

Chickens and Young Turkeys:
1ml per litre of drinking water for 30 days

Swine (<25 kg body weight):
1ml per litre of drinking water for 15 days

Calves, Kids, Lambs, Foals:
1 ml per litre of drinking water for 15 days from the end of the colostral period

Rabbits:
1.5 ml per litre of drinking water for 15 days

WARNINGS

Deleterious effects have not been reported even with excessive doses of these vitamins.


AMASOL K

Liquid Additive

Vitamin K supplementation therapy for poultry, calves and swine


DESCRIPTION

Vitamin K is integrally involved in the blood clotting process. Deficiencies occur without apparent cause in poultry and result in internal haemorrhaging and anaemia. Reduction in vitamin K levels may also occur during treatment with chemotherapeutic drugs such as sulphonamides, furanics and other antibiotics. Amasol K reverses the haemorrhagic and anaemic effects of vitamin K deficiencies and is intended for use in swine, calves and poultry.

INDICATIONS

Poultry, Calves and Swine:
During and after treatment with chemotherapeutic drugs or in cases of vitamin K deficiency.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Poultry:
2ml per litre of drinking water for 3 days

Calves:
5ml per kg of milk replacer for 3 days

Swine:
2ml per litre of drinking water or per kg of feed for 3 days

PRESENTATION

Multivitamin supplementation therapy


DESCRIPTION

Amasol Multivit contains a wide range of vitamins to provide general vitamin supplementation in cases where feed quality is unpredictable.

INDICATIONS

Broilers, Layers, Calves, Rabbits and Swine:
In cases where feed vitamin content is unpredictable; during periods of stress, reduced feed intake or reduced performance.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Broilers and Layers:
1-2ml per litre of drinking water for 6-7 days

Calves and Swine:
10ml per 100kg of live weight for 6-7 days

Rabbits:
1ml per 5 kg of live weight for 6-7 days

WARNINGS

Prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin A may cause itching, irritability and bone abnormalities and when administered at twice the nutritional requirement may affect yolk pigmentation in poultry. Prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin D3 is associated with hypercalcaemia of soft tissues as well as hyperphosphataemia. The maximum recommended dose for vitamin A is reported to be between 10 - 30x RDA, vitamin D3 between 4 - 10x RDA and choline chloride between 2 - 4x RDA. Prolonged overdosage should be avoided.


AMASOL SEL-E

Vitamin preparation for disease protection and the improvement of meat quality and preservation


DESCRIPTION

The synergistic effect of vitamin E and selenium in boosting the immune system is well documented. Amasol Sel-E is a concentrated solution of these two agents for use in drinking water or in the feed and is used for the prevention of a wide range of clinical and sub-clinical diseases eg. mastitis, encephalomalacia, exudative diathesis, muscular dystrophy and white muscle syndrome. It is of particular use in poultry during the first few weeks of life where it is important in ensuring the development of a competent immune system.

A second important benefit of Amasol Sel-E is the improvement of meat preservation and quality after slaughter by virtue of its antioxidant action on cell membranes.

    Calves, Sheep, Goats and Swine:
    50ml per 100kg of feed or per 100 litres of drinking water for 7 days

    Broilers:
    50ml per 100 litres of drinking water for 15 days

    Turkeys:

    AMASOL THERMA

    Liquid Additive

    Anti-heat stress vitamin solution


    DESCRIPTION

    High environmental temperatures are known to be associated with conditions such as hysteria, cannibalism, reduced performance, depressed feed intake in growing animals, increased mortality and cracked shells in layers. Amasol Therma is a carefully balanced preparation rich in vitamin C to combat the negative effects of heat stress. Vitamin E and B2 are also included to provide an additional boost to the immune system and ensure optimal growth.
