DESCRIPTION

Hepavit is a vitamin B and E rich multivitamin preparation sup-plemented with amino acids for use in poultry calves and swine. It provides essential nutrients to the liver to enable it to combat hepatic disorders and intoxications or to prevent susceptibility to disease during periods of unbalanced feeding.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Calves, Chickens and Swine:
2-10kg per tonne of feed for 5-6 days

WARNINGS

The recommended maximum dose for choline chloride is reported to be 2 - 4x RDA. Therefore prolonged overdosage should be avoided.

DESCRIPTION

Hydravit is a balanced mixture of salts, sugar and vitamins for replenishment of bodily fluids in cases of dehydration. The vitamin content of Hydravit makes it a useful tonic and anti-stress agent for the improvement of calf performance.

INDICATIONS

Calves:

Dehydration, reduced performance and stress in calves.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Calves:

100g per kg of feed or dissolve 20g per litre of warm (40°C) water.

On the first day of housing, administer 2 litres of solution per head every 2 to 3 hours up to its fill

WARNINGS

Prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin A may cause itching, irritability and bone abnormalities. The recommended maximum dose for vitamin A is reported to be between 10 - 30x RDA.


PANVIT

Vitamin and trace mineral preparation for poultry


DESCRIPTION

Panvit is a balanced vitamin and trace element preparation in powder form, formulated to improve the performance of poultry. It is recommended to be given before and during the hatching season, especially if breeding hens have emerged from a period of intense hatching. It is effective in combating stress due to say transportation and is an effective support therapy during vaccine and chemotherapeutic treatment.

WARNINGS

Prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin A may cause itching, irritability and bone abnormalities and when administered at twice the nutritional requirement may affect yolk pigmentation. Prolonged excessive dosing with vitamin D3 is associated with hypercalcaemia of soft tissues as well as hyperphosphataemia. The recommended maximum dose for vitamin A is reported to be between 10 - 30x RDA and vitamin D3 between 4 - 10x RDA.

Anti-stress and support therapy for use with chemotherapeutic agents in poultry, calves and swine


DESCRIPTION

Effective treatment with chemotherapeutic agents involves the careful control of a number of supportive treatments of which vitamin administration is one. Solbivit is a water soluble preparation rich in vitamins B, C and K which acts to correct possible deficiencies that may occur as a consequence of treatment with chemotherapeutic agents.
